History: He just started rapping in 2004 and only a year later he won critical acclaim for a song called "Warzone". Ninethdegree took first place amongst thousands of seasoned rappers and R&B singers for song writting skills in September of 2005.(http://www.songoftheyear.com/winners/2005/092005.htm) In January 2006 Ninethdegree submitted a second time and received second place amongst the same type of rap and R&b competion around the world for a song called "Pain Embraced" (http://www.songoftheyear.com/winners/2006/012006.htm) Since 2006 Ninethdegree has been laying down tracks with his college buddies called black light.
He is not only a fan of legendary rappers, but is a student of music and hiphop as a whole. Ninethdegree works very hard to internallize his rhymes and connect with his listeners. Everytime he writes a new song, Ninethdegree strives to make the composition better than the last.
