Interests

I'm Here For: Friends, Promotion, Business Networking
Sports & Exercise: Cycling, Running, Weights / Machines, Basketball, Swimming
Interests: My sole interest is music production.
Favorite Artists/Bands: Since I have started making beats, I have submitted to some of the following artists and labels: G Unit, Young Jeezy, D Block, Def Jam, Swisha House, The Game/The Blackwall Street, Shady Records, Nas, Memphis Bleek...and loads more to come.
Favorite Movies/TV Shows: I love Cribs, Family Guy, Pimp My Ride and Top Gear.
Some of my favorite movies are American History X, Shawshank Remdemption and the Rocky films.

In my words

About Me: I'm a UK based hip hop producer. I've been making beats for about 3 years, and have recently become a professional producer. In the last 6 months I have had the pleasure of working on tracks with Lil Wayne, 40 Glocc, Hussien Fatal, Raekwon, Canibus, Bo Roc, Spider Loc and few others. UK-Wise, I have worked with Dap C, Geejay, MC Beads, Kid Rad, Madnessity and Late of Wolftown.

I'm a sample-based producer, and I can't live without my MPC. I'm a serious vinyl addict too, and I love going record shopping.

What I Do For Fun: Vinyl digging, Producing and beat-making. Outside of music I love Formula 1 and I got a shoe addiction too.

Biggest Challenge: My biggest challenge is to carry on what I'm doing, doing it to the best of my ability and making sure I do all this and keep my mum proud.
She died on 21st May 2008 and she was my biggest fan, inspiration and best friend, and she never got to see me take my career to the next level.

Biggest Regret: Not being able to achieve what I have while my mum was still alive to see it.

Proudest Moment: Meeting The Game in December 2008. Been a huge fan since before he was signed, and back when he was working with JT.
Managing to work on tracks with Lil Wayne and Canibus were also a bit moment for me.

Goals & Inspirations: My goal isn't to become a millionaire or be the next Dr. Dre, I just wanna have a solid reputation for being one of the UK's best producers, and for people to know my name and appreciate my work.

Vice & Indulgence: I got a serious problem with shoes, like I got toooo many. I can't stop buying kicks, vinyl and Akai samplers.

Artist info

Label: Unsigned
Genres: General, East Coast

History: I started off as a DJ, That got me more interested in how beats were made and actually producing a record. So I then invested in a Boss SP-505 sampler and got started. With that sampler, I created my first ever beat, Gun Law. That was enough to get me hooked. So I kept working on the Boss and learning the basics. I then upgraded my sampler and got my first MPC. I got the MPC2000XL. This is where my game changed. I fell in love with MPC's from then on. I got myself a decent turntable and began diggin in the crates and started to learn the basics of sampling. Once I got my mixing desk, and I upgraded from the MPC 2000XL to the MPC 2500, I then got a basic understanding of how to mix down a beat and layering sounds, as well as stepping up my sampling skills, the beats just came together, and that's what you can hear on this page.

Style: My beats are all sample-based. I like to work with samples because its a part of the foundation of hip hop.
I use people like DJ Premier, Alchemist, Kanye, Pete Rock, Jake One J Dilla as my inspiration.

Influences: My favorite producer is The Alchemist. He's my biggest inspiration. I also look up to J Dilla, Jake One, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Quincy Tones, Kanye West, Baby J and a few others.

Equipment: Akai MPC2500
Numark TT200 deck
Focusrite Saffire Pro Soundcard
Behringer DDX3216 digital mixing desk
Behringer patchbay
Yamaha NS10's
