this looks like one of those movies where I want nothing more than to see the lead character die a horrible death. will I get my wish? will his cute little fucking family die at least? will his daughter get her leg blown off? will his wife survive 2012 and then get breast cancer and die? if the answer to these questions is no, then I'm not watching it.

This is a "popcorn movie". Like Transformers. The plot will be 2012, the end. Nothing else in the storyline will be anything beyond a Lifetime movie. The end will be obvious and somehow it'll be happy.
