Influences: Pretty much everything i grew up on... you know, germany and france in the late 70s and early 80s... first tape i got addicted to was nightflight to venus by boney m., i was like 5 at the time... i went through a lot of styles... acid house was important, heavy metal did some damage, and of course the early masters of hip hop... first hip hop group i got to know was public enemy, kurtis blow and malcolm mclaren... then came run dmc (my first record: tougher than leather, still loving it), naughty by nature (my first cd was their first album) and all the rest. i had my most hiphoppy phase around 92-96, i find that area has influenced my sound mor than anything else... but i got away from mostly listening to hip hop searching for the originals... so with the time, funk, soul and all the other good stuff became more important to me than hip hop... also, i don't like the way hip hop has become since then... to much money, too little creativity...
