About Me: Edwardius Leo-Masi Campbell aka FlyBoy Riko was born of Costa Rican and African-American descent on March 21, 1991. He has live and done music in New York, Baltimore, Chicago, Hershey and Harrisburg. He now resides in Baltimore, Maryland. On a personal level, he's 18, been doing music since 11, started out writing for singers, got into DJing for awhile, then got into rapping and to this day he loves rapping but singing has now become he favorite way to deliver his music. So it's like his girlfriend is rapping but his wife is singing. He runs his own record label Stealthmode/NBK Records. He has also gotten into producing/beat making but not for hip hop, He make beats for techno/club/electronica/pop rock/latino. He does not make hip hop beats because he feels that there's no challenge in it. Anyone can take a sound, stretch it out for 3 or 4 minutes and add a drumline to it. He feels the genre of beats that he has taken interest in takes time and skill to make. This isn't a knock hip hop producers but for him personally, Riko feels it'd be too easy. Some might know him as "Eddy C", "Karamel Riko", "Young Eddy Riko" and "Qubez" but he now goes by FlyBoy Riko. He is apart of the FlyBoy Family and has adapted his own FlyBoy way of life which is "Fly High Or Get Flew The Fuxk Over". Meaning: Be The Destroyer or Get Destroyed. I hope to get my unusual style recognized by people of influence. Make sure everybody knows that just because I make mainstream/commercial sounding music doesn't mean that I can't go underground when I want to. Get people to realized just because I use vocoders on my voice or have a natural "autotune effect" in my voice doesn't mean that I won't kill you lyrically. I was born a songwriter and am a songwriter at heart so the lyrics will always be there. I can bring the lyrics of an underground artist, the sound of mainstream music and add my unusual style/sound and bring them together in perfect harmony.
